John McDonald, MD, F.A.A.D. is the Director of the Indian River Skin & Cancer Center in Vero Beach. Dr. McDonald received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Georgetown University in Washington D.C.; completed residency in Internal Medicine at Hahnemann Medical College and Hospital (Drexel University) and completed residency in Dermatology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pa.
Dr. McDonald is Board Certified in Dermatology, is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and is a Fellow Member of the American Society of "Mohs" Surgery.
In addition to his full-time practice of Dermatology at the Indian River Skin & Cancer Center, Dr. McDonald is an adjunct Professor of Dermatology at Florida State University where he teaches Dermatology to the University Medical students. He has served as the President of the Indian River Medical Society and Head of the Department of Dermatology at Indian River Medical Center.
Dr. McDonald is on staff at Indian River Medical Center; Sebastian River Medical Center and Health South Rehabilitation Hospital.
